Perhaps the hunting has caused an increase in the testosterone levels of the brothers bringing out their primal aggressive tendencies. Traipsing through the woods lugging a tree stand and bow or a gun while dressed in camouflage just might have that affect. Maybe carrying cases of cereal to the basement from the back of Super Dad’s truck caused one of the brothers to snap. I guess we may never know for sure what caused this crazy and bazaar behavior. All I know is that Buck called me to the kitchen in a panic yelling that his brother had turned into a cereal killer.
I rushed to the scene to see the horrified looks on his siblings’ faces. I stood frozen in shock while he held a shiny silver knife with a 10 inch blade above an innocent box of cereal. I believe it was a box of Oreo cereal with marshmallows, one of his favorites. I couldn’t stop him as savagely sawed back and forth through the center of the box causing the cereal to spill out over the kitchen table.
I took a few minutes to interview his brothers who witnessed the gory scene.
“Buck, I understand that you saw the whole thing?”
“Yah, I did. I was just sittin there eatin my breakfast cereal and mindin my own business when he went berserk. He drew out a big knife and just started hackin away. It was the Oreos that got it, I think”
“Thank you Buck, you have been very helpful,” I said offering comfort. I moved on to my next witness the youngest brother.
“Ty, can you tell me what you saw that day?”
“There was cereal flying everywhere. It was gross. He cut it up into little pieces; one hit me in the head. It almost made me vomit.”
If you find that, your life is a little boring you might want to consider adopting some brothers. We rarely have a dull moment around here. The brothers each have a great sense of humor.
