Little sister turned 15 months old this week and she has a lot to say. She has been watching and listening to her older siblings and her mom for over a year now. Sometimes you can tell whom she is copying by her tone or the way she says a word or phrase. Previously, I remember my toddlers always wanting to talk on the phone because I did that a lot. Little sister always wants to type on my computer. I wonder why…
I couldn’t help but laugh the other day when our four year old was throwing one of her screaming, kicking, snot blowing episodes. Little sister looked at her and curtly yelled, “Shut up.” We had never heard little sister use that phrase before but it came out loud and clear as a bell. Unfortunately, that made the four year old even angrier.
Usually little sister is the first one up in the morning. She walks through the house with me while I tell her siblings to get up and get ready for the school day. This week as we opened the bedroom doors she said, “Get up,” before I did. In fact, whenever we enter a room, no matter the time of day, she says, “Get up.”

I am not sure if she was having a bad dream or what last night, but I woke up around 5am to her repeatedly saying, “No.” Sometimes she stretched it out to nnnoooo. That went on for at least 10 minutes.
As you can see in the photo, little sister is busy blogging away for mom. You probably thought I wrote all those blogs myself. Ah well, my secret is out.
Yesterday, when she heard the phone ring she let out a, “Rello.” Unfortunately, we can’t get her to say it with the phone to her ear. She just yells it out into the room now every time the phone rings.
I know she should be off the bottle so don’t give me a hard time on this one. She’s my last baby and I’m pretty sure she won’t take her bottle to college. Anyway, when she is finished with her bottle she throws it and says, “Baa baa, bye bye.” She has a mean right arm; she may have a chance as a pitcher when she gets older. It is so much fun when your children are learning new words everyday.
